Erin Lawrence, Kansas City Attorney

After graduating with honors from law school, Erin served as law clerk to the Honorable Michael W. Manners in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri. Following her clerkship, Erin began private practice, representing both employees and employers in employment discrimination and wrongful termination litigation. Erin provides counseling to employers regarding day-to-day employment law issues, including corporate training events. She serves as an independent investigator related to employment and other matters for a variety of organizations.  She also represents plaintiffs in personal injury and consumer protection disputes. Erin is a FINRA public arbitrator.

Erin has been consistently recognized by her peers in the legal community and was named a Super Lawyer Top Rated Employment Litigation Attorney in Kansas City, Missouri. She has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star every year since 2015. Erin has been recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 Attorney by the Association of American Trial Lawyers and was included in the 2020 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America for her work in Employment Law. In 2020, Erin was recognized as a Missouri Lawyers Media “Up and Coming” honoree.

Erin lives in Leawood, Kansas with her dog Sully (a/k/a Baby Sulls). She enjoys vising her son in Chicago (a recent DePaul University graduate), loves cooking, and is currently reading her way through the Pulitzer prize-winning fiction list.
